S-AFAB (self-assigned female at birth) is a term for those who self-assign as being assigned female at birth, even if that wasn't what their actual assigned sex was. It was coined as exclusive to intersex individuals.[1]

The AMAB counterpart is S-AMAB, and the AIAB/AXAB counterpart is S-AIAB/S-AXAB.[1]

Common Definitions
