Neononbinary or neoenby is a gender identity in which one is an enby beyond the existing non-binary spectrum.

Some neoenbies describe their experience as:

being a new kind/type of enby;
being an enby and/or connected to neutrality (partly or entirely) but in a unique way;
feeling like an expansion of the non-binary spectrum.

Not all neoenbies experience these. However, they are a good general outline for figuring out if one may or may not be a neoenby.

People who identify as any of these terms[xenogender, maverique, aporagender, outherine and pomogender] don't have the same experience as the majority of non-binary people who are midbinary or gender-neutral. So, they can consider themselves a new type of non-binary, also known as neononbinary.

However, not all neononbinary people have to be aporine. For example, there are multigender/genderfluid people who have female, male and neutral genders, but who don't identify as non-binary because these terms don't describe every gender they have; they have a male and/or female gender. So, they use the word neononbinary to express that they are non-binary in a different way.

In summary, people identify as neononbinary because they believe their gender is an expansion of the non-binary spectrum. After all, some neononbinary people can also be midbinary or agender, since this is a non-exclusive term for anyone who thinks their gender goes beyond traditional norms.
