Neutrumagic[1] is a gender that is related to or feels like being a magical person in the Puella Magi/Madoka Magica universe. This gender can feel gender neutral, cute, powerful and magical, with a dark or surreal undertone.

Its masculine counterpart is Puerimagic. It's feminine counterpart is Puellamagic.

History

Neutrumagic and it's definition was coined on March 19, 2026 by Fandom user oumoter (he/him).

Etymology

The name Neutrumagic was taken directly from the name of the anime it is inspired by, Puella Magi, and altered to be gender neutral. The name is derived from Latin, essentially translating to 'neutral magician'. Combined with the suffix -ic in an overlapping blend.

Flag

The black stripe represents despair and the dark truth of magical people. The brown stripe represents magic and mystery. The dark green stripe represents power. The lime green stripe represents cuteness. The white stripe represents purity. The concentric diamond symbol represents the cyclic nature of magical people, and the bow ties in the magical girl motif.
