MOGAI (Marginalized Orientations Gender Alignments and Intersex) is an acronym for those whose sexuality, gender, sex identity, etc deviates from the norm. This includes being unstraight, transgender or nonbinary, or anything else outside of the norm (allosexual, perioriented, heterosexual, cisgender, dyadic, and other conformant identities). MOGAI was intended as a simpler version of the LGBT+ acronym to avoid adding extra letters. MOGAI is often associated with very specific microlabels for identities, and is often seen for lesser known identities.
It is considered the opposite of COGAP, which is the conformant counterpart to MOGAI.
History
The acronym was coined by cisphobeofficial in a discussion with other people.[1][2]
