Queer

Queer is a term that is often used to describe anyone who is not (always, and/or only) cisgender, heterosexual, allosexual and/or alloromantic. It is sometimes used to represent a gender that is complicated, changes over time, and might not fit nearly into either/or identities.

It is also considered a political movement. It is advised to not call someone else "queer" unless the individual has made it clear that they are okay with it due to its use as a pejorative term since the 1940s. However, in recent years the term has grown to become more common and less derogatory.
