Hesperian is a gender alignment in the galactian alignment system, referring to non-binary individuals whose gender is neutral-aligned, but not necessarily neutrois-aligned. A hesperian is someone who has similarities in identity or experience with individuals with neutral genders. It can also refer to someone who has a complicated but existing relationship with neutral genders/alignment. Hesperian is distinct from stellarian, as stellarian can include unaligned indiviuduals. Astraean is the neutrois-aligned equivalent.[1]

Common Definitions

hesperian

A Galactian Alignment for someone who is neutral-aligned.

This is different from stellarian in that stellarian can include unaligned people, whereas this term is specifically for people who do have an alignment and whose alignment is neutral.

Additionally, this is not necessarily about being neutrois or considering your actual gender to be neutral, just your alignment to be. For example, someone could be a hesperian woman if they consider themselves a woman who is neutral-aligned.

Named after Hesperius, god of the evening star in Greek mythology.
