Girl+ (also known as woman+) is a term for when one is completely a girl/woman/etc, plus additional genders. One is not partially a girl/woman/etc or fluid/fluctuating in gender, but is completely, 100% a girl/woman/etc as well as additional genders. One may hoard genders or have many genders, but their other genders are just additional genders while their main gender is girl/woman/etc.
The male equivalent is boy+. The nonbinary equivalent is nonbinary+.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user neopronouns on May 30, 2021. The flag was included in the coining post.[1]
An alternative flag was created by Tumblr user ryanyflags on December 9, 2021.[2]
A simplified flag was created by Tumblr user mogaiscientist on August 6, 2023.[3]
