Feruvel is a neogender umbrella term for identities in which one's gender is connected to the concepts of ferality, nonhumanity, beastliness, not centered only around mammals and predators. It includes concepts such as

  • Instincts, feeling of pain, danger, hunger, etc
  • Predator / Prey dynamic, food webs and food chains, feeding behaviors.
  • Wild animals, monsters and other beings

Feruvel is not inherently a xenogender, but it may overlap or be combined with xenogenders or xenogender concepts. Terminology includes:

  • Fer- / Feru- / Vel-: Prefixes for subsets
  • -uvel / -vel: Suffixes for subsets
  • Ferinity: An equivalent of femininity/masculinity
  • Fera: A feruvel person (man/woman)
  • Feruvelic: Feruvel gender alignment
  • FERIN: In-Nature term (Feruvel-in-nature)
