Cryptidgender (Xenogender)

Not to be confused with Cryptidgender (Neurogender).

Cryptidgender is a xenogender identity in which one's gender is heavily associated, related, and/or connected with cryptids in some way(s).^[2] This may be cryptids in general or a specific cryptid(s). There are multiple further definitions:

One's gender has a strong connection to cryptids, nature, and mystery. It is often, almost exclusively, used by those who have a disconnect from humanity/being human.^[3]
One's gender feels mysterious, obscured, hidden, as well as dark, lonely, and intangible. It feels nonhuman (although it may be humaniod or human-like), like it can only be seen on rare occasions, and like it may or may not be real. It gives the person a feeling of constantly searching for it, as if they are trying to prove it's real.^[4]
One's gender, in addition to being related to cryptids, feels supernatural, confusing, and out of this world. may also feel a connection to certain cryptids (example: mothman, bigfoot, etc).^[5]
One's gender feels cryptic, supernatural, unexplainable, mysterious, obscured, intangible and unknown to oneself and/or others. It gives the user a sense of constantly searching for it. It may also feel nonhuman.^[6]

One can use any combination of these definitions, or just the base definition of being related to cryptids. It is not inherently masculine or feminine, but can be aligned (or combined) with any other gender(s).
