Butchgender is when someone's gender identity is tied to being a butch, or it could be a gender that can only be described as butch. [1] This can be used in combination with another gender(s) or just used as a gender on its own. Butch has historically been used as a gender identity on its own by those who have complicated relationships with gender due to being butch.
Butchgender can also be used as an orientationgender or sapphicgender identity, if one uses the term "butch" as in being a butch sapphic person. A similar term to this would be Enbutch Lesbian.
