Boything is a gender identity with two definitions:
- A gender identity in which one feels both a connection to masculinity and a disconnection to personhood.
- A xenogender identity in which one's gender is related to being a boy and a thing; a boything.
History
The first definition of boything was coined on October 20th, 2021, by Tumblr user pronounpinbadge.[1]
The second definition of boything was coined on September 8th, 2022, by Tumblr user knightcoric.[2]
