Avestix is a gender identity in which one's gender is influenced by being neurodivergent, as well as being connected to birds, bird aesthetics, being a bird, and/or a love for birds.

Avestix is an identity that can only be described by birds due to one being neurodivergent. This could be because of one’s special interest or hyperfixtation in birds, but it doesn’t have to be. Avestix is exclusive to neurodivergent people.

History

Avestix was coined by Tumblr user pupyzu on July 2nd, 2021. The flags were included in the coining post.
