Wisteric, also known as glicinoric, is a xenogender and floragender identity in which one's gender is centered and based on wisteria flowers.

Aspects of a wisteric experience may or may not include, and are not limited to:

  • A gendered connection to flowers and other flora and/or fauna associated with flowers, as well as plants and anything in the biosphere. It revolves around flowers like wisteria, lavender, periwinkle, and other similar flowers, as well as any other plants the user may have a connection to.
  • May also be influenced by comfort or soft things, and also may have ties to things that bring comfort or are soft, like stuffed animals, blankets, etc.
  • Feelings of sleepiness, intense comfort, happiness, etc. Emotions or feelings that bring nostalgia or love to the user are also common.
  • Feelings of placation, peace, intense tranquility, lack of stress, etc.
  • A major connection to cute or baby animals, flowers blooming, small plants, etc., particularly ones that the user may identify closely with or have a gendered connection to.

Wisteric can be used as a xenogender on its own, or as a very broad umbrella term, including xenogenders, aesthetigenders, neurogenders, etc. Other genders may be paired with it as well, including wisteroboy or wisteroxenic, for example; it can also be used as a modifier term, using wisteric/glicinic to describe one's gender (ex. wisteric bigender).
