Not to be confused with Azaleic
Azalean is a descriptor for non-binary individuals that have a gender expression that is seen as feminine, no matter if they are feminine-aligned/lunarian or not. It is part of the floral system.

It can be used by non-binary individuals who are not comfortable with the term femme, or other terms.

History

The term was coined on June 21, 2019 by Tumblr user hauntedmlm, along with other terms in the floral system. The flags were also included in the coining post.[1]
