Trisgender

Trisgender, also known as trinsgender, cistrans, or cransgender, is a gender modality for someone who is both cisgender/cissexual and transgender/transsexual. It can be experienced simultaneously or as fluid in between.
It's similar to integragender, but not essentially being multigender. Similar to cusper, but not necessarily in between. There are other reasons for being cistrans, such as:[3]
- A plural/system, such as detragender or levian
- An intersex individual
- A gender non-conforming individual
- An AGAB non-conforming individual
- A demitrans and demicis individual
- A cisgender and transsexual individual
- A multigender individual who identifies with their AGAB
- A genderfluid individual who may identify with their AGAB at a certain point in time
History
The term trisgender and its flag were created by DeviantArt user 67plus-genders on February 3, 2018, suggested by manga-lover3.[4]
The terms cransgender and trinsgender and their flag were coined by Tumblr user sanrio-kotto on April 5, 2022.[5]
The concept of being both cis and trans may be older.[6]
