Trans Enban

Trans enban refers to a transgender nonbinary individual/enban. "Enban" is a commonly used counterpart to "man" and "woman". "Enban" was created to be a more mature version of "enby", as many nonbinary people felt that "enby" was too childish and demeaning to use towards adult nonbinary people. "Enby" comes from the acronym "N.B.", which stands for nonbinary . Trans enben may be transmasculine or transfeminine, however many are transneutral or transandrogynous/transfemmasc.

While there are many enben who don't medically transition, there are also many who do. This may include taking low doses of hormones, getting top surgery, or getting bottom surgery. Instead of getting phalloplasty/medioplasty or vaginoplasty, enben may get genital nullification surgery or get surgery to have both sets of genitals.

There are also many enben who transition in other ways, including:

• changing one's name and pronouns
• wearing gender-neutral outfits such as hoodies/androgynous outfits that are both feminine and masculine
• cutting one's hair or letting it grow to be longer
• doing voice training to make one's voice more androgynous

Because "enban" refers to any nonbinary people, enben can have many different genders. However, "enban" usually refers to those who are agender, neutrois, maverique, outherine, xenogender, or any other gender that is not primarily a binary gender.

Some enben may also identify as cisgender instead of transgender, making them a cis enban. They also may identify as both/between cis and trans, or neither cis nor trans, making them a tris enban.
