Mediagender or Mediafluid is a fluix gender identity in which ones gender changes depending on what media they’re viewing or engaging with at the moment. This could be a television show, movie, book, ect ect. Alternatively this gender can be effected more by the genre, tropes, tags, characters, or the type of media/specific story one is hyperfixed on/engaged with.

This gender is widely used as an umbrella term within the mogai community, though the term can be used on its own.

Common definitions

Mediafluid is a gender identity that refers to one who feels connections to their birth gender, yet media such as books, tv, movies, music, etc can cause them to feel another gender. An example can be someone who was assigned female at birth sees a movie with a strong male character, and feels connected with the male gender, but like genderfluid, falls back to femininity.
