Kantogender

Kantogender is a pokégender gender identity in which one's gender is connected to the Kanto region in some way. This can be the Pokémon that originated in the Kanto region, the generation 1 games or their remakes, etc. The original coining stated that this was exclusive to neurodivergent individuals.

History

The term was coined on December 13, 2020, by Twitter user @miracIemask. The flag was included in the coining post, and was based on the starter Pokémon of the Kanto region, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle.
