Helian is a gender alignment term in the galactian alignment system referring to nonbinary individuals whose gender is man/guy/boy/male-aligned, but not necessarily masculine-aligned. It includes those who are partially men, those who are connected to manhood (regardless of their actual gender), and those whose gender experiences are similar to men. It is a subset of solarian.[1]

History

The first helian flag was coined by Tumblr user neopronouns on February 19, 2021.[1] The alternate flag was coined on February 21, 2021 by Tumblr user genderstalgia.[2]
