Selenian

Selenian is a gender alignment term in the galactian alignment system, referring to nonbinary individuals whose gender is woman/girl/gal/female-aligned, but not necessarily feminine-aligned. This includes those who are partially women, those connected to womanhood (regardless of their actual gender), and those whose gender experiences are similar to women's. It is a subset of lunarian.

History

The first selenian flag was coined by Tumblr user neopronouns on February 19, 2021. The alternate flag was coined on February 21, 2021 by Tumblr user genderstalgia.
