Gendershift (Neurogender)

Not to be confused with Shiftgender, Shiftergender, or Gendershift (Xenogender).

Gendershift is a neurogender identity exclusive to those with DID/OSDD in which one's gender shifts depending on which alter is influencing/fronting.

Gendershift is not meant to be used as a gender identity on its own; rather, it is a gender identifier or subgender to be used alongside other terms.

Common Definitions

“	Gendershift: a term exclusively for those with DID/OSDD(plus an exception in the thread), where your gender shifts depending on what alter is influencing/fronting. This is not meant to be its own gender, its simply a subgender or a term to use alongside gender(s). Anyone who is neurodivergent is able to use this as well so long as they experience something that affects them so intensely that it causes their gender to shift to something else. People who are not neurodivergent and/or do not have OSDD/DID CANNOT USE THIS. note: this is also not to be used by those who are questioning and unsure of their identity. This is not used for those who are unsure, its used for those who's relationship with their gender is complicated and shifts due to DID/OSDD and/or neurodivergency	”
