Volailgender

Volailgender, also known as hyvenailgender (pronounced hi-vin-ail-gender), is a faunagender identity in which one's gender is related to, or in some way affected by, scaly-foot gastropods.

History

Volailgender was coined on December 11th, 2025, by Fandom user MrsBunny3, along with its flags.

Etymology

Volailgender comes from the words "volcano" and "snail", despite scaly-foot gastropods not actually living on or at volcanos. Its alternate name, hyvenailgender, comes from the words "hydrothermal vent" and "snail".
