Verbenian was named after the flower verbena as the gender is part of the garden alignment system.

History

The term verbenian was coined by Fandom user Bendy and the Dark Revival on May 17th, 2023. The verbenian flag was coined on the same date by the same user. The flower on the flag is the verbena, the same flower that the gender is named after.
