Kalagender, also known as hilang-gender/hilanggender, is a gender used by those who do not know/understand their gender, but can easily find fitting pronouns, usually belonging to another gender.
Commonly, people who identify with kalagender are confused by, or do not know their gender, but not always. People who identify with kalagender may also enjoy using certain pronouns, while not connecting to that gender. Example: Y/N identifies foxself using fox/foxself, but fox does not identify as xenogender. Example 2: Y/N identifies as xe/xir, but xe identifies as cisgender, not agender or other xe/xir genders.
The name for kalagender and hilang-gender come from the Acehnese/Latin words 'Kalah', meaning 'to lose' and 'hilang' meaning 'missing'. Showing lost and missing gender.
