Hypnogem is a xenogender that is experienced as a mineral or precious stone, unshaped by human intervention and polished by time and pressure. It is defined by a deep sense of inward resonance, sensorial density, and crystalline stillness. The gender is not expressed through action or language, but rather through a feeling of existing as a dense, enclosed, sacred presence.

People who identify as hypnogem often describe their gender as fetal, dormant, or vibrating slowly under layers of silence. It may be associated with neurodivergence, trauma, or nonhuman experience, particularly those connected to minerality, stillness, and sensory intuition.

Hypnogem is not inherently aligned with masculinity, femininity, or neutrality, and may exist outside of human-defined gender concepts.
