Interbinary's root is primarily the transgender identity. it falls under the transgender umbrella, as well as genderfluid, just with more "steps". If someone were to be Interbinary, their foremost gender identity could be male. however, they could find themselves feeling more like a female sometimes, but preferring to keep the masculinity. (masculine attire, names, pronouns, etc.) but they feel like a girl in the moment.[1]
