Let's start from the beginning. Between semester one of grade nine and semester two of grade ten, I began questioning my gender and sexuality; I considered myself bi-curious, but I wasn't sure what my gender was. Now that I know the meaning of 'genderfluid', I would say that's what I was. I eventually went back to feeling like a cisgender man afterward. Now I'm in my twenties and identify as androgynous and genderfluid while still being heterosexual and using male pronouns. For me, androgyny is a gender expression which helps me feel more comfortable with my appearance. My gender expressions (androgynous, feminine, masculine) depend on how I feel (feminine, masculine, both, or neither). However, I know that's not the case for everyone.
