Mascgirl is a gender identity similar to tomboy, where someone who identifies as female expresses themselves in a masculine way. This is practically the opposite of femboy.

The difference is, tomboy describes a female or feminine-aligned person who exhibits masculine behaviour and/or expression, whereas mascgirl describes a girl whose masculinity is a part of or affects their gender identity, however small or large the effect/part is.
