I believe in what Wikia tries to do, and end up heading to Wikia first to look up information for something after checking the general information on Wikipedia.
I’m a demisexual sapiosexual androgyne with gender fluid leanings - yes, that’s one hell of a strange box to most people, I’m sure. It took a while for me to figure out the dimensions of that box, as for some time, I didn’t exactly have the terminology for it, because for a lot of my life, it just didn’t exist; we’re just getting flags for most of those identities.
Relationship wise, I’m largely polyamorous with a strong sense of polyfidelity. I’m engaged to Tony, and we’re dating John; currently, Tony is in Salt Lake City, UT due to a job opportunity while John and I are still in PA, so John and I spend more time together, however I’ve known Tony since I was fifteen. Strong bonds, and we don’t take kindly to people who refuse to take them seriously. if you’re unfamiliar with polyamory and polyfidelity, there’s a very in depth FAQ to read up on it before resorting to filling up my talk page with questions.
Beyond those basics, I’m a gamer geek. Video games, browser/social media games, table top games, and live action role play games. For several years, before my medical conditions became too severe, I worked in the video game industry - both in the MMO genre at Sony Online Entertainment and in the land of console gaming at SEGA of America. Currently, I run a role play and raiding free company in Final Fantasy XIV, which takes up a huge chunk of my time.
I was trying to go to school for 3D art and animation, however the courses at every school oddly required traditional drawing, and my medical conditions make it too difficult to draw by hand, so I had to withdraw - I’m still trying to teach myself, but it’s difficult. I’ve been trying to get back into it, but Poser had an issue with Adobe Air a while back, and reinstalling is a pain because of how many individual mesh installs I have to do - one of them was corrupted with the Air issue, and I don’t know which one it was, so I have to start from scratch.
My musical tastes range all over the board, largely because I learned to play a number of instruments: piano, flute/piccolo, saxophone, clarinet, recorder, guitar, riq (Middle Eastern tambourine-like instrument), doumbek drum (also Middle Eastern), and zills. I’m eyeing the violin next, since they have electric versions that have headphone jacks. I also have trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and belly dance, though due to my medical conditions, I mostly stick to just belly dancing now.
