Tri-detrans, also referred to as tri-detransgender, is a gender descriptor for transgender individuals who partially or wholly regret their transition or specific elements of their transition journey. The ‘tri’ in this identity refers to one feeling three separate experiences of their gender. This can also be referred to as a gender identity under the trigender umbrella. These gender identities include: detransgender or demi-detransgender, cisfemgriefmasc or cismascgrieffem and either:

In regard to the demigender, one may feel a partial connection to one of the listed gender identities and a partial connection to another.

One who identifies as tri-detrans may or may not also socially and/or medically detransition. It is a completely individual experience.
