Transphi

Transphi is an umbrella gender identity for anyone who is both of the following:

It includes (but is not limited to) trans people who are wifgender, fingender, female, female-aligned, fiaspec, feingender, genderera, F-gender, and/or femgender.

It is meant as a more specific equivalent of transfeminine, as the latter term is not AMAB-exclusive. This can be helpful because some may feel their AGAB is useful or necessary information for describing their trans experience, but may not necessarily want to explicitly state it.

It is similar to MTF, however this acronym puts the AGAB first and foremost, and not every transphi individual identifies or is comfortable with MTF as a label.

It is inclusive of intersex people who may not have been explicitly assigned male at birth but feel they fall under the umbrella of an MTF (or similar) experience, hence “AMAB-adjacent.”

Transphi can also be used as a gender identity by itself, such as in the case that someone knows they are MTF or similar but does not know or want to specify their specific gender.

The FTM/AFAB transmasculine equivalent is transmu.[1]
