Tessongender is a xenogender identity in which one's gender is surrounded by shards of their assigned gender, which were forced there by others trying to change their true gender. These shards may make it difficult or painful to see and explore one's true gender. The shards may or may not feel similar to their true gender, but are not the same as it.
Tessongender was coined with those who have gone through conversion therapy in mind, but is not exclusive.
