Template:Free media/doc

This is a template documentation subpage for Template:Free media.
It contains usage information, categories, interlanguage links and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is the {{Free media }} meta-template.

It should be transcluded into every known free image copyright tag. It categorises files and images that are tagged with those copyright tags into Category:All free media. Thus allowing a machine-readable list of all free media to be created. It should not be used directly.
