This is a template documentation subpage for Template:Delete.

Description

This template is used to mark pages for deletion, categorizing them in Category:Candidates for deletion.

Dependencies

This template uses {{mbox/wikitext}} and Delete.svg

Syntax

Type {{Delete|reason|date (DD/MM/YYYY)}} on the page to be deleted.

Sample output

{{Delete|it is not relevant to the wiki|06/04/2026}} gives...

This page is a candidate for deletion for the following reason: it is not relevant to the wiki. (since 06/04/2026)

If you would like to either agree or disagree for this pages deletion, you can do so in the Project Talk discussions category. You could also improve this page to fill the necessary requirements, and remove the {{delete}} tag.
