Description

{{Citation needed}} adds the article to Category:Citations needed. Use it for small bits needing citations. Adds an inline tag that has a tooltip with an optional reason.

Syntax

Type {{citation needed|reason}} somewhere.

Parameters

• 1 = Optional reason or details about needed citation.
• doc=1 Optional suppress categorization page where template is used.
