Intro

The Staciunian Gender Group (SGG) is a group or system of genders that are all connected to either a month of the year[1][2] or a season[3][4]. The terms are broken down into individual seasons and are collectively referred to as Staciunian Genders.

The SGG also has four subgroups within it, each of which stands for a certain season and contains all of the genders that fall within that season[5]. This, along with the fluid, flux, and fluix genders that are connected to the main twelve don't actually contribute to the count of 12[6].

The name is derived from the Sicilian word "staciuni," which means "season."[7] All terms that fall within the group also use the Sicilian word for whatever season or month they're related to.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]

History

The system and its terms were coined by Tumblr user Hallowgender[24] on August 2, 2020[25].

The Flag

While the SGG doesn't have a chart, as many other gender groups/systems do, it does have a flag to represent the group as a whole[26], something very few other gender groups/systems have.

Jinnaruian

Giugnettuian
