Sobergender

Sobergender is a genderfluid gastrogender identity in which one's gender expression changes depending on whether or not one is intoxicated by alcoholic beverages. These two states are classified as the sober-type and the dionis-type, and Sobergender stipulates that specifically the sober-type identity is preferred and more comfortable than the dinois-type. For example, one might feel like a Demiboy when drunk, but when sober, one instead feels Genderfluid, which feels much better than the Demiboy identity.
Additionally, the two types don't necessarily need to represent different genders, and rather, they may represent the same gender, expressed to different magnitudes or in different ways. For example, one may feel faintly Catgender when intoxicated, and much more strongly Catgender when sober, and this stronger sense might be preferred. This variety might alternatively be described as Soberflux.
Furthermore, more complex kinds of Sobergender can exist, where there are several different states that can be experienced depending on the extent and duration of one's sobriety. For example, one might feel Bigender when drunk, Cadensgender after a few days of sobriety, and Artgender after months of committed abstinence.
Sobergender bears certain similarities to Alcoholicgender, although there are key differences between the two;
- Alcoholicgender does not indicate whether the sober-type or the dionis-type is preferred, meanwhile Sobergender indicates that the sober-type is preferred and more euphoric for the user, while the dionis-type feels bland and perhaps even dysphoric.
- Alcoholicgender is only to be used by alcoholics, meanwhile Sobergender is available to anyone, and is especially better suited to people who don't consume alcohol.
The inverse of Sobergender is Dionisgender.
