Piscin

Jump to navigation Jump to search

Piscin (pronounced pie-scene) is a xenogender identity in the Aecor System in which one's gender is related to pools in some way(s). It may be a -coric or aesthetic xenogender relating to pools, or a mutogender in which one's gender is affected by swimming.

Piscin is similar to stagmun, except that it does not include faunagenders as part of its definition. Piscin may also be added on to another identity; for example, one may identify as a piscingirl, a piscinboy, or a piscinenby/piscinonbinary.

Etymology

The name 'piscin' comes from the Spanish word for pool, piscina. However, it is pronounced differently; the gender's name is pronounced similarly to the word Pisces.[1]
