Personagender is a gender identity with two different definitions.

(1) personagender flag created by DeviantArt user autistic-italy on or before September 26, 2016.
  • 1. A gender identity in which one uses a specific term for their gender when they don't fully identify with that term. Often times this will be a simpler term than their actual identity, or a general label used in place of their more complex gender/genders. for example someone whose completely comfortable being genderfluid may simply say they are non-binary in public when they want to avoid confusion; its important to note that this label is not to be used in a restrictive way.

(2) personagender flag by reddit user Lonely-dude
  • 2. a gender identity in which ones gender is related to their personality or how they present themselves/their persona. for example someone who is catgender and feels like they have a cat-like personality or wants to include cats in the way they present themselves. A personagender individual may feel their personality greatly effects their gender or wish to include part of their personality/interest in their gender.

History
