Pantheragender is a faunagender identity in which one's gender is strongly related/connected to big cats, extant and extinct, including but not limited to: saber tooth cats, American lions, panthers, jaguars, African lions, bobcats, etc.

Pantheragender may also be an umbrella term for all genders related to big cats (ex. liongender, panthagender). For a list of subsets, please see Category:Pantheragender.

History

Both the flag and its color meanings were created by Tumblr user raspberryjamus on November 20, 2020.[1]

Etymology

Pantheragender comes from the word panthera, as in panthera genus, a group species of big cats. This genus is under the family felidae.
