Occufluid (or airgender) is a form of genderfluidity where your gender changes by occupying the 'empty' space that the gender of people you are in presence of is not occupying, so that it balances and completes the spectrum. Example: when in a mostly feminine environment, an occufluid person may feel mingender.
The suffix occu- is from the word "occupy" and -fluid comes from "genderfluid".
History
Occufluid was coined by itsfebe, originally as airgender, on February 23rd 2019.[2] At a later date it was changed to occufluid because there was already a gender called airgender prior to the coinage of this gender.
On April 27th, 2022, theos_thesolargay made a flag for occufluid as well as an alternative flag too.[1][3]
