Novagender is a xenogender identity in which one's gender feels intense, bright, and explosive like a supernova. This gender may fluctuate in intensity.

History
Novagender was coined on October 10th, 2020, by Tumblr user cowbloom.[1]
Flag
Two novagender flags were created on October 10th, 2020, by Tumblr user cowbloom. The black stripe represents a connection to the universe, the purple stripe is for detachment from the gender binary. The hot pink stripe symbolizes explosive energy, light blue is for neurodivergence, and the yellow strip connects to stars. Lastly, the white stripe represents inclusivity, diversity, and acceptance.[1]
