Nifsgirl

Nifsgirl is a xenogender identity in which one's gender is feminine and quintessentially spooky, scary, or frightening to the user. This could be a playful take on "spooky" or "scary," or may be genuinely horrifying or terrifying to identify with for reasons determined by the user. One's gender may or may not also have some connection to the aesthetics or qualities of being "spooky" or "scary."

Etymology

The gender's name comes from the Norwegian Nyorsk word "nifs", meaning "spooky, scary, frightening".
