Neutris
Not to be confused with Neutrois.
Neutris, also known as Neutrae (prounounced either Neu-triss or Neu-tree) is a gender identity that is neither male or female, and is marked by feelings of gender neutrality or androgyny. Being neutris is marked by many feelings, such as feeling like a third gender culturally while growing up, gender non conformity, and increased self discovery due to neither being male nor female.
Neutris is different from nonbinary. While neutris defines one's gender as simply being neither male nor female, non-binary specifies being at least partially defined by how one doesn't fit in the binary, rather than what one's gender is by itself.
History
