Not to be confused with musicgender, musicagender, audiogender, or the musicorum system.

Musigender is an umbrella term within the musicorum system. Musigender individuals can only describe their gender as feeling like music itself. A musigender person may attempt to describe their gender with a specific song/tune/feeling, but usually, their gender is mostly inexplicable to someone who is not musigender.

Musigender is an umbrella term, but can be used as a stand-alone identity.

Subsets

Musi- is a prefix, and can be added to other identities such as "musiboy." Any new subset can be coined and this is not a complete list.

History & Flag

The original creator and coiner of this gender is not known, nor is the meaning behind the original flag. Supposedly, it was coined in the year of 2014, but that's all that could be found on the subject. On Tumblr, dragonpride17-removed coined the alternative flags (July 29th, 2022). {{#SQuote:|text=the colors in order are dark blue, purple, magenta, light cyan, very light green, soft yellow, orange, and red. the first image has a dark blue symbol of a treble clef on it, the second image is the flag by itself, and the third image includes meanings and hex color codes on each stripe. in order, they are “connection to specific songs” (#27218b), “creativity” (#8e4ccb), “transness” (#f05de1), “unique experience with gender” (#52f2d4), “neurodivergence” (#a1fdb1), “gender non-conformity” (#ffde8b), “love of music” (#f0b148), and “connection to specific music genres” (#ed5947).|speaker=dragonpride17-removed|receiver=|attribution=|source=|id=Y0D4-T0NA-F05S|template=}}
