An HRT femboy is a femboy who is on feminizing hormone replacement therapy. It refers to a transhormonal (transsexual) individual that was assigned male at birth, typically cisgender (but not always) who takes estrogen to achieve physical traits that are regarded as feminine.
It is important to distinguish HRT femboys from transsexual individuals who are male-to-female; HRT femboys do not have any desire to undergo sex reassignment surgery and transition to the female sex.
HRT femboys fall under the transfeminine and gender non-conforming umbrellas.
