Glowystaric was coined on March 4, 2023 by Pinterest user cheesecake. It was supposed to represent glowing stars, no matter what the number is.[1]

The flag was designed by cheesecake on March 4, 2023.[1] The flag consists of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink stars all across the flag, black and dark grey stripes, and a giant rainbow star in the middle.
