Gendersilkie

From Gender Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Gendersilkie is a form of genderfluidity that does not encompass genders that are man-aligned, miaspec, or anything similar. Gendersilkie individuals tend not to feel mingenders unless it is woman-aligned, such as azurgirl. Gendersilkie is under the genderfaer umbrella.

This identity specifically includes any genders under umbrella terms Fingender, Agingender, Ningender, Aporagender and Xenogender, although it is not limited to these.

It should also be noted that xenogenders that may be viewed as masculine by society, but are not defined as being masculine-aligned, are included.

The counterpart of gendersilkie is Gendersilen.

History

The term Gendersilkie was first used the Gender Wiki[2], for feedback on both Gendersilen and Gendersilkie, posted by Faeteller[1] on July 21, 2022.

Extra Notes

Gendersilkie is meant to be the fiaspec counterpart to Gendersilen. Gendersilkie is also meant to be based of a combination of Genderfae and Genderselkie. To compliment both aspects, 'Silkie' is also a Scottish folklore Brownie[3] (like the alterative name of Gendersilen, Genderùruisg), as well to link both the Fae aspect and the selkie name.
