Amorgender
Amorgender, also known as Erogender, is a genderfluid identity in which one's gender changes whilst in the presence of an individual to whom they have developed a deep connection for. This could be a romantic attraction, platonic connection, a spiritual affinity, or anything similar.
History
Amorgender was coined on July 10, 2016 by Tumblr user Pride-Color-Schemes.[1]
Subsets
Filkogender
Filkogender is a subset of amorgender in which one's gender changes while in the presence of one who they are in a QPR (Queer Platonic Relationship).
Amorgirl
Amorgirl is a subset of amorgender in which one's gender only changes to female around the people they have a strong bond with.
Amorboy
Amorboy is a subset of amorgender in which one's gender only changes to male around the people they have a strong bond with.
Flag
On the current/commonly used amorgender flag, the colors represent different forms of connections which go as follows; blue and white is for spiritual bonds, yellow represents platonic bonds, the purple rings represent non-binary people and any form of connections/bonds.
The original and alternate flags were designed on or before July 10, 2016 by Tumblr user pride-color-schemes.[1]
