Ambix is an identity in which one's gender is ambiguous, but not androgynous. It can be described as being amingender and not lingender.
Ambix can be used as an identity on its own or as a term to describe one's gender. Its opposite is angix.
History
The original ambix flag was created by Tumblr user variant-archive on April 4, 2021.[1] The alternate flag was created by Tumblr user revenant-coining on May 21, 2024.[2]
